Rustic Pathways, Photographer Australia. June - August 2015
Lead and photographed tours through Australia for travel company Rustic Pathways, spending six weeks camping in the Northern Territory and Western Australia before working another four weeks in Queensland. Managed budgets, coordinated travel options and lead daily service projects while producing images for catalog and website.

The New York Times Journalism Institute, Photographer Tucson, Ariz. May 2013
Worked with New York Times editors for a two week student journalism institute, producing content for an institute newspaper and website. Illustrated reporter's stories and produced a photo essay covering the departure of a Sheriff's Deputy.

The State Press, Photo Editor Tempe, Ariz. January 2013 - May 2013
Managed a staff of 10 at one of the largest college newspapers in the country. Led the photo desk during the transition from a daily to a weekly print edition. Organized photo shoots, photographed sporting events and assisted in print layout.

  • 2012 Summer Olympics. Covered events surrounding the games from London for three weeks, including cultural events, team practices and press conferences. Content published in Arizona news outlets including The Arizona Republic and the Arizona Daily Star.
  • Depth Reporting: Two Borders. Wrote a 1300 word profile piece comparing the lives of two farmers living on the northern and southern borders of the US. Story awarded fourth place in the 2013-2014 Hearst Journalism Awards Feature Writing competition.
